Nexus Infrastructure Labs builds resilient backend architecture for tier-one cloud platforms. We seek a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to own system availability, multi-region failover, and automated capacity planning across our distributed Kubernetes estates.
You will operate as technical lead across infrastructure and product engineering, driving architectural reviews, latency reduction, and fault isolation mechanisms across high-throughput production services.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, provision, and maintain multi-region Kubernetes clusters across public cloud providers.
- Design SLO/SLI tracking frameworks and automate real-time incident mitigation pipelines.
- Spearhead chaos engineering experiments to surface and fix single points of failure.
- Build internal tooling and automation in Go and Python to eliminate manual operational toil.
- Participate in high-severity incident escalation on-call rotations and lead blameless post-mortems.
- Partner with product engineers to enforce reliability, observability, and security best practices before code reaches production.
Kualifikasi
- 7+ years of experience managing production-scale distributed systems in AWS or GCP environments.
- Deep operational proficiency with Kubernetes, Terraform, and container runtimes at scale.
- Proficient programming experience in Go, Python, or Rust for systems automation and tooling.
- Proven track record architecting observability platforms using Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana.
- Strong understanding of Linux OS internals, network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/2, gRPC), and performance profiling.
- Demonstrated experience defining reliability SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets for high-availability systems.
