Apex Infrastructure Labs is seeking an experienced Staff Site Reliability Engineer to architect, harden, and scale our globally distributed cloud platform. In this role, you will define reliability standards, eliminate systemic bottlenecks, and lead incident response automation for systems processing millions of operations per second.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain multi-region Kubernetes clusters supporting low-latency microservices.
- Design, implement, and enforce production SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets across all product engineering groups.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and compliance policies using Terraform and GitOps workflows.
- Lead post-mortem reviews to isolate root causes and drive systemic preventative remediations.
- Develop internal observability tooling using Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana to enhance trace visibility.
- Participate in a Tier-3 escalation on-call rotation and mentor senior engineers in resilient systems design.
Kualifikasi
- Demonstrated track record of 7+ years managing large-scale distributed systems in production environments.
- Expert-level proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for systems software and internal tool automation.
- Deep production experience with container orchestration platforms, specifically production Kubernetes and service meshes.
- Extensive operational knowledge of public cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, gRPC).
- Proven history of establishing observability frameworks using distributed tracing and real-time metric pipelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent operational experience.
