GIC is seeking a seasoned professional to join our Technology Group (TG) as an AVP/VP, Vendor Governance within the Vendor Governance Office (VGO). In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee and elevate enterprise vendor governance, driving operational excellence across technology shared services.
As an integral leader within TG, you will establish robust vendor relationship frameworks, optimize third-party service delivery, manage strategic IT sourcing engagements, and mitigate third-party enterprise risk. You will collaborate closely with internal technology heads, legal, compliance, and enterprise procurement teams to ensure alignment with GIC's long-term digital transformation and investment support mandates.
The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in strategic vendor management, software licensing, managed services governance, and commercial negotiations within tier-one financial institutions or enterprise environments.
Tanggung Jawab
- Establish, implement, and maintain the strategic Technology Vendor Governance framework, operational policies, and performance standards across TG.
- Drive end-to-end oversight of strategic technology vendors, monitoring KPIs, SLAs, performance scorecards, and continuous service delivery.
- Lead high-impact commercial negotiations, contract reviews, and renewals in collaboration with IT Procurement and Legal counsel.
- Manage enterprise third-party risk management (TPRM) frameworks, ensuring compliance with MAS regulatory technology guidelines and internal risk appetites.
- Develop and track vendor expenditure, optimize IT run-rate costs, and identify cost-efficiency opportunities across vendor portfolios.
- Act as the escalation authority for complex vendor operational disputes and contract compliance issues.
- Partner with technology domain leaders to align partner roadmaps with enterprise architectural and operational strategies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- 8 to 12+ years of relevant experience in IT vendor management, technology shared services, or IT procurement within financial services or global corporate environments.
- Demonstrated track record of governing multi-million-dollar technology agreements, outsourced infrastructure, and software/SaaS vendors.
- In-depth familiarity with Singapore financial regulatory expectations (e.g., MAS Guidelines on Outsourcing and Technology Risk Management).
- Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience in complex contract structuring, cost optimization, and dispute resolution.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, executive communication, and negotiation capabilities.
