Kinoa Cafe is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Cashier to join our hospitality team in Badung, Bali. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for guests completing their orders, ensuring every financial transaction is processed accurately, efficiently, and with top-tier customer service.
As a core member of our front-of-house staff, you will manage cash registers and digital point-of-sale systems, balance daily receipts, and support a welcoming dining atmosphere. Tanggung Jawab
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) terminals to process cash, credit card, and digital QR payments accurately.
- Calculate orders, issue receipts, and provide correct change under fast-paced service conditions.
- Reconcile the cash drawer at the start and end of every shift, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
- Welcome cafe guests warmly, respond to basic menu inquiries, and relay customer requests to kitchen and barista teams.
- Maintain a sanitized, organized, and fully supplied cashier desk and checkout area.
- Handle simple customer complaints or transaction adjustments professionally following company policies.
- Assist team members with dining area readiness and basic guest support during operational peaks.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a cashier, order taker, or service crew member in a cafe or restaurant.
- Proficiency operating standard POS software and electronic card processing machines.
- Strong numerical accuracy, cash-handling capabilities, and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication skills; conversational English ability is highly preferred.
- Customer-first mindset with demonstrated ability to stay calm and courteous during rush hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent vocational education in hospitality or accounting.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
