Allen & Overy, operating through Ginting & Reksodiputro (G&R), welcomes high-achieving law graduates to join the February intake of our Graduate Internship Program in Indonesia. This competitive program provides aspiring commercial lawyers with direct exposure to market-leading domestic and cross-border transactions.
As an intern, you will integrate into elite practice groups covering Banking & Finance, Corporate/M&A, Capital Markets, and Dispute Resolution. You will collaborate directly with seasoned partners and associates, conducting high-level research and assisting on live client files across key industry sectors.
We provide comprehensive mentorship, technical training, and hands-on legal experience designed to build the foundational skills necessary for a premier international legal career. Exceptional performers will be considered for permanent associate roles upon completion.
Tanggung Jawab
- Perform rigorous legal research on Indonesian statutory frameworks, court precedents, and cross-border regulatory compliance.
- Assist legal teams in drafting legal memorandums, transactional agreements, and formal client advice.
- Support due diligence reviews for commercial transactions, acquisitions, and restructuring projects.
- Translate, review, and verify bilingual legal documentation between Indonesian and English.
- Attend client meetings, negotiations, and regulatory hearings, preparing detailed notes and summaries.
- Compile, organize, and manage transaction bibles and closing deliverables.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor of Laws (Sarjana Hukum) from a premier university in Indonesia or accredited international equivalent.
- Fresh graduate or candidate with less than one year of post-qualification legal experience.
- Outstanding academic track record with a minimum GPA of 3.30 out of 4.00.
- Complete professional fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Solid foundational understanding of Indonesian civil, commercial, and regulatory law.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and high attention to detail under tight transactional deadlines.
- Track record of leadership in moot court competitions, law reviews, or legal student organizations.
