Rapid Technology Indonesia is hiring an experienced and detail-oriented IT Core Network Officer for an enterprise client placement in the financial services sector in Jakarta Raya. This contract role offers a high-impact opportunity to manage and optimize mission-critical network infrastructure supporting real-time financial transactions.
As an IT Core Network Officer, you will ensure high availability, optimal performance, and robust security across enterprise routing, switching, and firewall appliances. Financial sector IT requires stringent uptime metrics, strict adherence to cybersecurity standards, and rapid incident resolution. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary IT operations and infrastructure teams to handle configuration management, core network troubleshooting, and routine capacity planning.
This position is ideal for network specialists seeking exposure to high-throughput, enterprise-scale network architecture within a regulated, technology-driven financial environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Configure, maintain, and monitor enterprise core routers, switches, and perimeter firewalls.
- Ensure continuous availability, redundancy, and minimal latency for internal financial network systems.
- Troubleshoot complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 network connectivity incidents within strict SLA deadlines.
- Implement and manage network security policies, access control lists (ACLs), and IPsec VPN tunnels.
- Perform regular firmware updates, configuration backups, and vulnerability patching on network hardware.
- Collaborate with vendors, data center teams, and system administrators to deploy infrastructure changes.
- Maintain clear and accurate network diagrams, inventory documentation, and incident post-mortem reports.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise core network environments.
- Proficiency with enterprise hardware including Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or MikroTik devices.
- Deep understanding of routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and Spanning Tree (STP).
- Familiarity with network monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., PRTG, Zabbix, Wireshark).
- Prior work experience in the banking, fintech, or financial services industry is strongly preferred.
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or Fortinet NSE) are an advantage.
- Availability to join on a contract basis with on-site placement in Jakarta Raya.
