Apex Distributed Systems is seeking a Lead Cloud Platform Engineer to architect, scale, and maintain our global edge-compute infrastructure. You will own platform reliability, automate internal developer workflows, and eliminate operational bottlenecks across multi-region AWS environments.
This role offers high visibility, direct ownership of foundational systems, and the ability to influence core infrastructure strategy from day one.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain high-throughput, multi-region Kubernetes clusters on AWS.
- Design resilient infrastructure-as-code pipelines using Terraform and OpenTofu.
- Standardize internal developer platforms (IDP) to improve engineering velocity and reduce deployment friction.
- Implement comprehensive observability stacks using Prometheus, Grafana, and distributed tracing tools.
- Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) investigations and drive actionable post-mortem remediation efforts.
- Mentor senior and mid-level systems engineers on scalable infrastructure best practices.
Kualifikasi
- 7+ years managing production-scale cloud infrastructure in distributed systems environments.
- 5+ years of hands-on expertise with AWS, Kubernetes orchestration, and container networking.
- Demonstrated proficiency writing automation tooling in Go, Python, or Rust.
- Deep experience implementing declarative infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- Proven background running zero-downtime database and microservice deployments at scale.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical industry experience.
