Hartalega, the world's leading manufacturer of nitrile gloves, is seeking an organized and results-driven Procurement Executive (Operation Buyer) to join our supply chain operations in Sepang, Selangor.
In this role, you will be instrumental in executing operational purchasing strategies and maintaining reliable procurement lifecycles across production facilities. You will collaborate closely with internal manufacturing teams and external vendors to secure raw materials, technical components, and operational supplies critical to our manufacturing throughput. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical abilities, hands-on enterprise procurement software experience, and effective negotiation skills to drive cost efficiency without compromising on production quality standards.
As an Operation Buyer, you will manage day-to-day requisition workflows, evaluate vendor quotes, monitor delivery timelines, and resolve shipment or invoicing variances. You will also participate in periodic supplier performance reviews and identify supply chain risks to maintain operational continuity across our production hubs.
Tanggung Jawab
- Execute end-to-end operational purchasing processes including requisition review, purchase order (PO) generation, and vendor issuance.
- Coordinate with suppliers to monitor shipment schedules, expedite urgent orders, and resolve fulfillment delays.
- Conduct pricing comparisons, negotiate short-term terms, and identify cost-saving opportunities for operational spend.
- Maintain procurement master data, PO records, and transaction logs accurately within the ERP system.
- Collaborate with warehouse and quality assurance teams to resolve discrepancies in delivered goods, invoices, and return authorizations.
- Evaluate vendor delivery performance, lead-time compliance, and service responsiveness to assist in supplier scorecards.
- Support internal stakeholders with material requirement planning to eliminate line downtime and supply shortages.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of operational procurement or buying experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle Procurement modules.
- Solid understanding of purchase-to-pay (P2P) cycles, inventory workflows, and basic commercial terms.
- Strong negotiation, numerical, and vendor management capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently under tight production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
