Legend Shipping Agencies is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead commercial growth in Genteng, East Java. This role focuses on driving freight forwarding, ocean shipping, air cargo, and logistics revenue across regional and international supply chains.
As Sales Manager, you will build and direct an active sales pipeline, manage key client accounts, and develop regional market penetration strategies. You will work cross-functionally with operations, carriers, and corporate leadership to deliver end-to-end logistics solutions that scale customer operations and maximize agency profitability.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to hit revenue and margin targets across freight forwarding and ocean transport lines.
- Prospect, qualify, and secure high-value B2B accounts across manufacturing, retail, and commodities sectors.
- Manage end-to-end commercial negotiations, contract tenders, and client service level agreements (SLAs).
- Lead, coach, and assess the performance of the regional sales and business development team.
- Monitor market trends, carrier capacities, and competitor pricing to capture new market share.
- Collaborate with customer service and operations teams to resolve shipping bottlenecks and maintain client retention.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in sales within freight forwarding, ocean shipping, or third-party logistics (3PL).
- Documented history of meeting or exceeding commercial sales quotas and managing large enterprise portfolios.
- Comprehensive understanding of sea freight (FCL/LCL), air cargo, customs clearance, and Incoterms.
- Demonstrated negotiation, contract structuring, and team leadership capabilities.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian with strong professional presentation skills.
