Apex Distributed Systems is seeking a high-caliber Senior Backend Engineer to architect, optimize, and scale our core transactional infrastructure. You will take ownership of mission-critical services delivering microsecond latencies across global edge deployments.
We operate a lean, highly technical engineering organization that emphasizes autonomous problem-solving, pragmatic systems design, and extreme ownership over production reliability.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and implement low-latency microservices handling millions of concurrent requests using Go and Rust.
- Optimize high-throughput persistence pipelines utilizing PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka.
- Define architectural boundaries, write RFCs, and lead rigorous code reviews across the backend team.
- Partner with DevOps and SRE to instrument end-to-end telemetry and maintain 99.99% service availability.
- Diagnose bottlenecks and edge-case production incidents across distributed environments down to the kernel level.
- Mentor mid-level engineers through targeted technical feedback and pair programming sessions.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience designing and operating distributed systems at scale.
- Deep proficiency in Go, Rust, or modern C++ with an emphasis on concurrent programming.
- Advanced knowledge of relational and non-relational database internals, query optimization, and transaction isolation levels.
- Proven track record deploying cloud-native architectures on AWS or GCP using Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Firm grasp of networking primitives, TCP/IP, HTTP/3, and RPC protocols like gRPC.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience.
