Nexus Distributed Labs is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to architect, build, and optimize high-throughput distributed systems that process millions of critical events per minute.
You will work with modern infrastructure primitives, low-latency datastores, and asynchronous event pipelines. We value simplicity, operational empathy, and pragmatic engineering trade-offs.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and implement robust, horizontally scalable microservices using Go and PostgreSQL.
- Design low-latency APIs and event streaming pipelines with Apache Kafka.
- Optimize high-load database queries, indices, and schema migrations without downtime.
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to define system SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets.
- Diagnose production performance bottlenecks using distributed tracing, metrics, and memory profiles.
- Champion operational excellence through automated CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and comprehensive telemetry.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience designing, deploying, and maintaining backend systems at scale.
- Proficiency in Go, Rust, or modern C++ within Linux environments.
- Deep understanding of relational database internals, transaction isolation levels, and data modeling in PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with distributed streaming platforms like Apache Kafka or AWS Kinesis.
- Demonstrated knowledge of containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud networking primitives on AWS or GCP.
- Strong grasp of system reliability principles, including rate limiting, circuit breaking, and caching strategies.
