Vektor Systems is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to drive architectural direction across our core distributed infrastructure. In this role, you will lead complex technical initiatives, mentor senior engineers, and design resilient back-end systems that process millions of events daily. Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable distributed microservices handling high transaction volumes.
- Define engineering standards, design patterns, and best practices across multiple cross-functional teams.
- Partner with product and infrastructure leads to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps.
- Troubleshoot hard concurrency and performance bottlenecks in production environments.
- Conduct rigorous design reviews and elevate engineering quality through direct mentorship.
- Drive continuous improvements to our CI/CD pipelines and deployment observability.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience designing and operating backend services at scale.
- Proficiency in Go, Rust, or modern C++, with strong system architecture foundations.
- Deep understanding of relational databases, distributed data stores, and event-driven patterns.
- Demonstrated history of guiding technical strategy and executing multi-quarter technical initiatives.
- Practical experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and cloud environments (AWS or GCP).
- Strong communication skills with a track record of cross-team alignment.
