Nexus Cloud Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to architect, scale, and maintain distributed cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will lead the core platform team in building high-throughput microservices and optimizing data pipelines processing millions of daily events.
We value pragmatic engineering, high autonomy, and direct ownership from technical design through production monitoring.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-throughput backend services using Go and Python.
- Optimize low-latency data layers across PostgreSQL, Redis, and distributed caches.
- Deploy, manage, and scale microservices running on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Lead architectural reviews and enforce testing, CI/CD, and code quality standards.
- Monitor production performance and drive platform reliability to sustain 99.99% uptime.
- Partner with product leads to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of software development experience with backend systems.
- Advanced production proficiency in Go, Python, or another systems-level language.
- Hands-on expertise with distributed cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
- Deep working knowledge of SQL, database normalization, and query optimization.
- Practical production experience containerizing and managing workloads with Kubernetes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical industry experience.
