Apex Cloud Systems is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to architect and scale our core distributed infrastructure. In this role, you will design mission-critical Kubernetes systems, accelerate developer velocity, and maintain high-reliability foundations serving millions of daily requests.
You will collaborate directly with technical leadership to establish architectural standards, mentor senior engineers, and optimize multi-cloud performance and resilience at scale.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, scale, and maintain multi-region Kubernetes clusters across cloud environments.
- Design internal developer platforms to streamline deployment workflows and improve developer velocity.
- Drive site reliability initiatives to sustain 99.99% system availability across core production services.
- Implement automated infrastructure as code pipelines utilizing Terraform and GitOps practices.
- Lead root-cause analysis for high-severity platform incidents and implement systemic remediations.
- Mentor senior engineering staff on systems design, security governance, and operational rigor.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience in software engineering, SRE, or platform engineering.
- Demonstrated mastery of distributed systems architecture, Linux internals, and networking protocols.
- Expert proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for systems programming and internal tooling.
- Extensive production experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern observability stacks.
- Proven track record of designing secure, multi-tenant cloud infrastructure at scale.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical systems engineering experience.
