Vektor Systems is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to architect, build, and scale our core high-throughput distributed platform.
You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver robust APIs, optimize database operations, and ensure 99.99% system availability under heavy loads. This position offers high autonomy, direct product impact, and modern infrastructure tooling.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain low-latency, scalable backend microservices using Go and Node.js.
- Design, optimize, and manage distributed relational and NoSQL databases.
- Implement automated unit, integration, and performance testing suites.
- Partner with DevOps to streamline CI/CD deployment pipelines on AWS infrastructure.
- Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior engineers.
- Diagnose production bottlenecks and implement performance optimizations.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of professional backend software development experience.
- Strong proficiency with Go, Node.js, or modern asynchronous languages.
- Proven expertise in relational data modeling and indexing with PostgreSQL.
- Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining distributed, event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration via Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of API security protocols, rate limiting, and auth standards (OAuth2, JWT).
