Apex Distributed Systems is seeking a Senior Staff Platform Engineer to design, scale, and maintain our global edge infrastructure. You will own the core developer platform and multi-region Kubernetes clusters supporting high-throughput production traffic.
This role offers high technical autonomy, direct architecture ownership, and the opportunity to build resilient cloud foundations with zero-trust principles.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, deploy, and maintain zero-trust cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP using Terraform.
- Build internal developer platforms to accelerate continuous deployment pipelines and shorten delivery cycles.
- Optimize Kubernetes cluster performance, network egress, and cross-region traffic routing.
- Establish strict SLOs/SLIs and drive observability initiatives across all mission-critical services.
- Mentor engineering teams in distributed systems design and operational maturity.
- Implement automated compliance scanning, secrets management, and runtime drift detection.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience managing distributed, high-scale Linux environments.
- Production mastery of Kubernetes orchestration, service mesh implementations, and GitOps workflows.
- Strong programming proficiency in Go or Rust for systems tooling and custom operators.
- Proven track record architecting multi-region infrastructure migrations with zero downtime.
- Expertise with modern observability tooling including Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Strong communication skills and experience setting company-wide technical standards.
