Apex Data Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale mission-critical distributed systems. In this role, you will lead the architecture of high-throughput APIs and real-time streaming pipelines supporting enterprise-scale applications.
You will collaborate closely with product and infrastructure teams to modernize backend services, optimize data persistence layers, and champion engineering best practices across the organization.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, develop, and maintain low-latency, scalable backend microservices using Go and gRPC.
- Optimize relational and distributed database performance across PostgreSQL and distributed caches.
- Design resilient event-driven data ingestion pipelines using Apache Kafka.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture specifications and deliver robust APIs.
- Drive code quality through automated testing, peer reviews, and comprehensive documentation.
- Profile and resolve system bottlenecks across production infrastructure in AWS.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience building high-scale distributed backend systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency in compiled backend languages, preferably Go, Rust, or modern C++.
- Strong experience with relational databases, data modeling, query optimization, and transaction isolation.
- Practical knowledge of distributed systems patterns, eventual consistency, and message streaming architectures.
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical engineering experience.
