CloudScale Systems is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to architect and scale mission-critical platform services. In this role, you will lead backend architectural decisions, optimize high-throughput distributed systems, and drive performance across global deployments.
You will collaborate with cross-functional product and infrastructure teams to deliver resilient, low-latency APIs processing billions of events monthly.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain high-throughput microservices using Go and cloud-native patterns.
- Design fault-tolerant distributed pipelines and messaging workflows with Apache Kafka.
- Optimize database performance, indexing, and data models across PostgreSQL and Redis clusters.
- Implement automated unit, integration, and load testing suites to maintain high reliability.
- Lead engineering design reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
- Troubleshoot latency regressions and operational incidents in production environments.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of software development experience specializing in backend infrastructure.
- Deep practical experience with Go, Rust, or modern C++.
- Proven experience operating distributed systems at scale on AWS or GCP.
- Expert knowledge of relational data modeling, query optimization, and transaction boundaries.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems theory, networking protocols, and concurrency.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience.
