NexaScale Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to architect, build, and optimize our core distributed platform handling millions of daily transactions. In this role, you will lead backend architectural decisions, establish engineering standards, and collaborate directly with product and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability and sub-millisecond latencies.
We prioritize pragmatic, maintainable software and foster an engineering culture focused on ownership, minimal operational complexity, and high-velocity shipping.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, develop, and maintain resilient distributed microservices using Go and PostgreSQL.
- Design low-latency gRPC and RESTful APIs consumed by external developers and internal services.
- Optimize database performance, schema design, and query execution plans at high concurrency.
- Drive engineering excellence through comprehensive code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD enhancements.
- Instrument services with distributed tracing, structured logging, and actionable metrics using OpenTelemetry.
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to refine system requirements and capacity plans.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience in production environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Go, Rust, or modern C++ building high-throughput network services.
- Strong expertise in relational database internals, particularly PostgreSQL or MySQL, including indexing strategies.
- Hands-on experience designing and operating event-driven systems using Apache Kafka or AWS SQS.
- Solid understanding of Linux systems internals, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
