Nexus Systems is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to architect, scale, and optimize high-throughput distributed infrastructure. In this role, you will lead the core platform team in building mission-critical services that power high-volume real-time data pipelines.
We prioritize clear engineering practices, continuous delivery, and minimal tech debt. You will collaborate directly with cross-functional product teams to deliver resilient, production-ready software.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain low-latency APIs and backend microservices using Go and PostgreSQL.
- Design resilient distributed data pipelines capable of ingesting millions of daily events.
- Optimize database queries, indexing strategies, and connection pooling across relational and NoSQL stores.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment pipelines using Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Lead root-cause analyses for production incidents and define preventive architectural patterns.
- Review peer code to enforce security, performance, and maintainability standards.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience building and deploying distributed backend systems.
- Advanced proficiency with compiled backend languages (Go, Rust, or C++).
- Demonstrated experience designing high-performance PostgreSQL or MySQL databases.
- Hands-on operational experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong background in event-driven architectures leveraging Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
