Nexus Cloud Platforms is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to scale our core distributed data ingestion services. In this role, you will lead the architecture of high-throughput APIs and event-driven backends processing billions of daily events. You will collaborate directly with infrastructure, product, and data teams to deliver fault-tolerant cloud software.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices using Go and PostgreSQL.
- Scale distributed messaging pipelines using Apache Kafka and Redis.
- Optimize backend services for low latency and high availability under heavy traffic.
- Implement automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to maintain software quality.
- Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and provide technical guidance to mid-level engineers.
- Collaborate with SRE teams to deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot production workloads on Kubernetes.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience in a production environment.
- Proficiency with Go, Rust, or Python in distributed systems contexts.
- Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with message brokers and event streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS).
- Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong grasp of system architecture, concurrency patterns, and network protocols (gRPC, HTTP/2).
