Vektor Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to architect, scale, and maintain our high-throughput distributed data infrastructure. You will design fault-tolerant microservices, optimize low-latency storage engines, and drive system reliability across our core platform.
We value pragmatic engineering, clean interfaces, and low-overhead operational models. In this role, you will collaborate closely with platform, product, and data teams to deliver scalable solutions underpinning mission-critical enterprise workflows.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and implement robust, high-performance services in Go and Python.
- Optimize high-volume data ingestion pipelines and relational/non-relational database layers.
- Design, build, and maintain production-grade gRPC and RESTful APIs.
- Enforce security, observability, and testing best practices across service lifecycles.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior engineering staff.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience in backend software engineering.
- Proficiency with Go, Rust, or modern C++ in distributed environments.
- Demonstrated experience designing high-availability database architectures with PostgreSQL or CockroachDB.
- Hands-on operational experience with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals, concurrency models, and network protocols.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
