Apex Cloud Systems is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to architect, build, and scale our core distributed data platform. You will lead technical design for high-throughput microservices, optimize low-latency storage engines, and drive system resilience across multi-region cloud infrastructure.
The ideal candidate brings deep systems-level knowledge, a track record of scaling high-concurrency production applications, and a passion for engineering rigor and clean architecture.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain high-throughput, low-latency microservices using Go and gRPC.
- Optimize relational (PostgreSQL) and distributed caching (Redis) layers for peak traffic loads.
- Design resilient event-driven architectures leveraging Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code and automated deployment pipelines via Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes on AWS.
- Drive engineering standards through thorough design documents, automated testing, and comprehensive code reviews.
- Investigate production anomalies, lead root cause analyses (RCAs), and optimize core system performance.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience in Go, Rust, or modern C++.
- Proven experience operating scalable distributed systems handling over 10,000 requests per second.
- Expertise in SQL query optimization, transaction isolation levels, and indexing strategies in PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on production proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS cloud networking/compute services.
- Strong grasp of concurrency patterns, distributed consensus, data consistency models, and API security.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience.
