Apex Core Systems builds mission-critical data infrastructure powering next-generation financial APIs. We seek a Senior Backend Engineer to architect, scale, and optimize low-latency distributed services handling over 100,000 queries per second.
In this role, you will lead the core systems team in modernizing transactional data paths, mitigating tail latencies, and driving engineering rigor. You will collaborate directly with cross-functional platform engineers, product designers, and security specialists to deliver resilient primitives with strict 99.999% availability SLAs.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-throughput backend services using Go and Rust.
- Optimize distributed data stores, messaging pipelines, and caching layers for sub-millisecond p99 latencies.
- Participate in high-severity incident responses, drive blameless post-mortems, and resolve systemic platform vulnerabilities.
- Review production pull requests, enforce idiomatic coding standards, and mentor mid-level engineering staff.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling, and infrastructure deployments across AWS environments using Terraform.
- Enforce security boundaries, data governance standards, and zero-trust networking paradigms across multi-tenant clusters.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience designing, deploying, and maintaining high-scale distributed backend systems.
- Advanced fluency with Go, Rust, or modern C++ in Linux-based cloud infrastructure environments.
- Deep understanding of relational and non-relational database internals, specifically PostgreSQL and distributed key-value stores.
- Strong background in concurrency control, memory management, serialization protocols, and asynchronous networking models.
- Hands-on operational experience with Docker, Kubernetes, gRPC, and message brokers such as Apache Kafka.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical systems engineering experience.
