Apex Distributed Systems is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, scale, and maintain our multi-region Kubernetes deployments. In this role, you will architect core cloud primitives, automate critical delivery pipelines, and ensure high availability across global workloads operating at petabyte scale.
We prioritize infrastructure-as-code, operational simplicity, and rigorous automation over manual maintenance. You will collaborate directly with product engineering teams to eliminate bottlenecks and optimize cloud compute efficiency.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, deploy, and manage fault-tolerant Kubernetes clusters across multi-cloud environments.
- Write modular, reproducible infrastructure code using Terraform and OpenTofu.
- Design and maintain zero-trust network policies, service meshes, and IAM permissions.
- Build automated CI/CD deployment pipelines prioritizing immutable infrastructure patterns.
- Implement comprehensive observability stacks covering tracing, metrics, and actionable alerts.
- Participate in an on-call rotation with a focus on post-incident remediation and toil reduction.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience managing large-scale Linux infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
- Demonstrated proficiency orchestrating production-grade Kubernetes environments.
- Advanced automation skills with Terraform and at least one programming language (Go or Python).
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, distributed networking, and container runtimes.
- Proven track record architecting high-availability systems with strict 99.99% SLAs.
- Experience profiling cloud workloads for performance optimization and spend efficiency.
