At Nexus Cloud Solutions, we are building the next generation of scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure that powers mission-critical applications for enterprise clients globally. We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our elite Platform Engineering team in our San Francisco headquarters.
In this role, you will be the architect of our deployment pipelines, the guardian of our cloud reliability, and a key driver of our "Infrastructure as Code" philosophy. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, security specialists, and product leads to deliver a self-service platform that accelerates feature velocity while maintaining rigorous SLA standards.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, multi-region AWS infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) to enable progressive delivery, canary deployments, and automated rollback strategies.
- Build and operate a Kubernetes-based (EKS) self-service developer platform, including service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo), and policy enforcement (OPA/Gatekeeper).
- Define and enforce SLOs/SLIs; lead incident response for platform-level outages and conduct blameless postmortems.
- Automate security compliance scanning (SAST/DAST/SCA) and cloud posture management (CSPM) into the developer workflow.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct architecture reviews, and champion DevOps best practices across the organization.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives (FinOps) utilizing tools like Kubecost and AWS Compute Optimizer.
Kualifikasi
- 7+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles.
- Expert-level proficiency with AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
- Deep production experience with Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS), Helm/Kustomize, and Operators.
- Strong programming skills in Go, Python, or TypeScript for building internal tooling and operators.
- Proven track record designing and managing CI/CD systems for microservices architectures (GitOps workflows).
- Extensive hands-on experience with observability stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/EFK, or Datadog.
- Solid understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, Load Balancing, CDN) and Linux internals.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
