Nexus Cloud Solutions is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our elite platform engineering team in the heart of San Francisco. You will be the architect of our cloud-native infrastructure, driving automation, reliability, and scalability for high-throughput distributed systems. This is a high-impact role where you will define the developer experience for a team of 50+ engineers, leveraging cutting-edge tooling on AWS and Kubernetes.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design, implement, and manage highly available, multi-region AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) enabling hundreds of daily deployments with zero-downtime strategies.
- Build and operate a self-service Internal Developer Platform (IDP) on Kubernetes (EKS) using Crossplane and Backstage.
- Establish SLO/SLI frameworks and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Loki) for proactive incident response.
- Lead the migration of legacy VM-based workloads to containerized, serverless architectures.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct architecture reviews ensuring security, cost-efficiency, and scalability best practices.
- Automate compliance and security hardening (CIS benchmarks, policy-as-code with OPA/Gatekeeper) across all environments.
- Collaborate with product teams to optimize cloud spend, targeting a 20% YoY reduction in unit economics.
Kualifikasi
- 7+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering roles.
- Expert-level proficiency with AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFront) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Terragrunt).
- Deep production experience with Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS), Helm, Kustomize, and Operators.
- Strong programming skills in Go or Python for building controllers, operators, and CLI tools.
- Proven track record designing and implementing GitOps workflows (ArgoCD/Flux) at scale.
- Extensive experience with observability stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, or Datadog.
- Solid understanding of network topology, DNS, TLS/mTLS, and service mesh technologies (Istio/Linkerd).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
