Vectra Data Systems is seeking a Senior Distributed Systems Engineer to scale our core infrastructure processing billions of transactions daily. You will architect high-throughput services, eliminate performance bottlenecks, and maintain 99.999% availability across global regions.
You will work alongside principal engineers to design robust fault-tolerant distributed consensus layers, refine latency profiles, and define architectural patterns across our engineering organization.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain low-latency, highly available distributed data pipelines.
- Implement automated failover mechanisms and resilient consensus protocols.
- Optimize database read/write throughput and query performance across sharded clusters.
- Profile production microservices to eliminate system bottlenecks and CPU/memory regressions.
- Establish distributed tracing, metrics, and actionable alerting standards.
- Mentor mid-level and junior software engineers through architectural reviews and code audits.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years building backend architectures at high scale.
- Proficiency in Go, Rust, C++, or modern Java with deep runtime knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, gRPC, Redis, and globally distributed databases.
- Demonstrated expertise with Raft, Paxos, or similar distributed consensus algorithms.
- Strong grasp of Linux OS internals, network protocols (TCP/IP), and performance tuning.
