Nexus Infrastructure Labs is looking for a Staff Backend Engineer to drive the next generation of our core data platform. In this role, you will architect, build, and scale mission-critical distributed services processing hundreds of thousands of events per second. You will act as a primary technical authority, owning end-to-end reliability, system performance, and foundational infrastructure design while working closely with product and engineering leadership.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, build, and operate resilient, low-latency distributed systems across multi-region cloud environments.
- Direct technical strategy, conduct system design reviews, and establish architectural standards across core engineering teams.
- Diagnose complex performance bottlenecks across network, storage, memory, and CPU layers.
- Design fault-tolerant APIs and data pipelines supporting high-throughput external and internal consumers.
- Mentor senior engineers, cultivate engineering excellence, and lead technical decision-making processes.
- Drive root-cause investigations during critical outages and champion preventive architectural enhancements.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of professional backend software development experience in production environments.
- Expert-level proficiency in Go, Rust, or modern C++.
- Deep understanding of distributed consensus, data replication protocols, and storage engine internals.
- Strong grasp of Linux systems programming, concurrency patterns, and network performance tuning.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
- Demonstrated capability to lead high-impact architectural initiatives across multiple teams.
