Nexus Cloud Labs is looking for a Senior Distributed Systems Engineer to architect and optimize low-latency, high-throughput storage engines and compute platforms. You will solve non-trivial concurrency, partition tolerance, and network topology challenges handling millions of operations per second.
We value pragmatic system design, deterministic performance, and minimal operational overhead over unnecessary complexity.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, implement, and maintain high-throughput distributed backend services.
- Optimize database internals, caching strategies, and disk/memory read paths.
- Diagnose performance bottlenecks and latency regressions in Linux network stacks.
- Design resilient replication strategies and consensus mechanisms across regions.
- Drive incident post-mortems and automate self-healing infrastructure patterns.
- Review critical infrastructure code for concurrency bugs and thread safety.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience building distributed systems in Go, Rust, or C++.
- Deep understanding of distributed consensus algorithms, memory management, and network I/O.
- Demonstrated experience operating high-throughput event streaming systems like Apache Kafka.
- Proven track record tracing performance anomalies down to OS and kernel primitives.
- Solid foundational knowledge of database internals, LSM-trees, and B-trees.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical engineering experience.
