Nexus Distributed Systems builds planetary-scale data infrastructure powering real-time enterprise intelligence. We seek a Staff Infrastructure Engineer to architect resilient, multi-region distributed compute clusters handling millions of transactions per second.
You will serve as the domain technical authority across our hybrid cloud runtime, driving operational reliability, compute efficiency, and automated failover capabilities. This is a high-visibility, execution-driven role collaborating directly with platform engineering and executive technical leadership.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, scale, and maintain multi-region Kubernetes clusters operating across hybrid cloud environments.
- Optimize global traffic routing, eBPF-based service mesh networks, and zero-trust perimeter security.
- Design automated chaos testing frameworks to validate distributed fault tolerance and cross-region failover.
- Direct cloud compute capacity planning, slashing compute inefficiencies via custom auto-scalers.
- Establish SLOs, SLIs, and automated telemetry across petabyte-scale streaming pipelines.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers in distributed systems design, operational hygiene, and systems debugging.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience managing multi-region, high-concurrency cloud environments.
- Demonstrated mastery of distributed orchestration using Kubernetes, bare-metal nodes, and bare-metal networking.
- Deep software engineering competency in Go, Rust, or Python for systems automation and tooling.
- Advanced operational background with eBPF, Cilium, Envoy, and Linux kernel networking internals.
- Expert-level fluency with Infrastructure as Code via Terraform, OpenTofu, or Pulumi.
- Documented track record of leading root-cause investigations during large-scale production outages.
