Apex Scale Labs is seeking a Senior Distributed Systems Engineer to architect next-generation high-throughput data pipelines. In this role, you will design fault-tolerant backend infrastructure, resolve concurrency bottlenecks, and scale our core services to handle millions of transactions per second. You will work closely with foundational platform teams in San Francisco to deliver resilient, sub-millisecond systems.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain low-latency, high-throughput distributed microservices.
- Optimize multi-region database replication, caching layers, and consensus protocols.
- Set architectural standards and production reliability baselines across core platforms.
- Profile high-load production workloads to eliminate CPU and memory bottlenecks.
- Lead incident mitigation, root cause analyses, and operational postmortems.
- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through design reviews and technical coaching.
Kualifikasi
- 7+ years of professional backend engineering experience with distributed systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Go, Rust, or modern C++.
- Deep understanding of distributed consensus, fault tolerance, and event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on expertise scaling transactional databases and distributed message brokers.
- Demonstrated experience operating cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP at high scale.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical industry experience.
