ScaleMesh Labs is looking for a Senior Distributed Systems Engineer to architect and scale our core real-time replication fabric. In this role, you will eliminate bottlenecks, design consensus protocols, and push the throughput boundaries of globally replicated state machines handling millions of operations per second.
We value pragmatic engineering, mechanical sympathy, and zero-fluff execution. You will have full ownership over service critical paths and collaborate directly with founding infrastructure leaders.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, implement, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency distributed storage primitives in Go and Rust.
- Lead root-cause analysis for performance degradation, network partitions, and data synchronization regressions.
- Optimize Linux kernel network parameters, memory layouts, and disk I/O paths for multi-tenant workloads.
- Design resilient failover mechanisms and fault-tolerant consensus mechanisms utilizing Raft or Paxos variations.
- Conduct cross-functional architectural reviews to enforce strict SLAs and zero-downtime deployment pipelines.
- Mentor mid-level engineers through disciplined, high-velocity code reviews and technical design specifications.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience building high-scale distributed backend systems in Go, Rust, or C++.
- Deep understanding of network primitives (TCP, UDP, gRPC), memory allocators, and concurrency control.
- Demonstrated experience working with distributed consensus algorithms (Raft, Paxos, or similar state machine replication).
- Proven track record analyzing Linux runtime profiles using tools like eBPF, perf, and pprof.
- Experience operating critical production services on cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) via Kubernetes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical discipline, or equivalent practical systems engineering experience.
