ScaleFlow Systems is seeking a Senior Distributed Systems Engineer to lead the architecture and scaling of our globally distributed event streaming platform. In this role, you will design fault-tolerant backend services capable of ingesting over 500,000 events per second. You will collaborate closely with platform architecture and SRE teams to drive high reliability, sub-millisecond latencies, and predictable execution across modern cloud-native environments.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-throughput backend services using Go and Rust.
- Optimize high-volume data pipelines running on distributed messaging infrastructures.
- Instrument observability and profiling tools to eliminate system bottlenecks and reduce latency.
- Lead architectural design reviews and drive engineering best practices across teams.
- Implement rigorous automated integration and performance tests to ensure fault tolerance.
- Participate in Tier-3 on-call escalation rotations for core platform services.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
- Proficiency in low-level or high-performance concurrent languages (Go, Rust, or C++).
- Deep operational experience with distributed data systems such as Apache Kafka, Pulsar, or Cassandra.
- Hands-on mastery of Linux internals, TCP/IP networking, and memory profiling.
- Experience driving containerized workloads via Kubernetes across public cloud providers (AWS or GCP).
