Nexus Core Systems is hiring a Senior Distributed Systems Engineer to build high-throughput, low-latency primitives powering our real-time synchronization engine. You will own the architecture and deployment of fault-tolerant systems handling over 100,000 requests per second across hybrid cloud infrastructure.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain high-performance Go services powering our global edge network.
- Design resilient distributed data stores using consensus algorithms (Raft, Paxos).
- Optimize low-latency networking paths using gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and QUIC.
- Establish observability baselines via Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and structured tracing.
- Partner with infrastructure teams to automate deployments via Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Participate in high-severity incident resolution and drive blameless post-mortems.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of software development experience using Go, Rust, or modern C++.
- Demonstrated production experience with distributed systems patterns and consensus protocols.
- Deep understanding of Linux network stack tuning, IPC, and concurrency models.
- Proven track record managing distributed storage engines (PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, Cassandra).
- Strong knowledge of stream processing platforms, specifically Apache Kafka.
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical production engineering experience.
