Synthetix Core Labs is seeking a Senior Distributed Systems Engineer to build high-throughput, low-latency streaming infrastructure handling millions of events per second.
You will design fault-tolerant data storage engines, eliminate latency bottlenecks, and operate mission-critical backend services at scale.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain low-latency, fault-tolerant backend services in Go and Rust.
- Design and tune high-throughput distributed event streaming pipelines.
- Define service boundaries, interfaces, and serialization formats with gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
- Debug complex network, OS, and concurrency issues across global production clusters.
- Automate infrastructure deployment, autoscaling, and canary releases using Kubernetes.
- Participate in blameless post-mortems and improve operational telemetry and observability.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience building and scaling distributed backend systems.
- Advanced proficiency in concurrent programming languages such as Go, Rust, or modern C++.
- Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of distributed consensus, replication, and partitioning.
- Proven track record with streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka, Redpanda, or Flink.
- Strong grasp of Linux OS internals, socket programming, memory management, and profiling.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing workloads on AWS or GCP with Kubernetes.
