Apex Cloud Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to scale our core distributed infrastructure. You will design, build, and optimize developer platforms supporting high-throughput cloud microservices.
In this role, you will collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure fault-tolerant deployments, maximize uptime, and eliminate delivery bottlenecks.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain distributed cloud infrastructure across multi-region AWS and Kubernetes clusters.
- Build internal developer tooling and platforms to streamline CI/CD delivery pipelines.
- Establish observability, tracing, and metric collection standards using Prometheus and OpenTelemetry.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive platform safeguards.
- Enforce security controls, access governance, and infrastructure-as-code best practices across all environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive platform architecture roadmap decisions.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience managing scalable distributed systems on AWS or GCP.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform in high-availability environments.
- Strong programming proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for systems automation and tooling.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Linux kernel tuning, container networking, and cloud security architecture.
- Track record of building and optimizing CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical industry experience.
