Nexus Cloud Systems seeks an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to lead the evolution of our internal developer platform and core Kubernetes infrastructure. In this role, you will eliminate deployment friction, enforce production-grade security, and build self-service tooling for over 200 software engineers.
We prioritize automation over toil, immutable infrastructure, and robust observability. You will collaborate directly with principal architects to drive system resilience and define our multi-region cloud strategy.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain multi-region Kubernetes clusters on AWS using automated scaling and GitOps workflows.
- Develop internal developer platform APIs and CLI tooling using Go to reduce deployment cycle times.
- Implement declarative infrastructure as code using Terraform and Terragrunt across all staging and production environments.
- Integrate comprehensive observability frameworks using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Participate in an on-call rotation, leading critical incident mitigation and blameless post-mortem investigations.
- Conduct architecture reviews to identify system bottlenecks, single points of failure, and security vulnerabilities.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of hands-on experience running distributed cloud infrastructure in high-traffic AWS environments.
- Demonstrated expertise with Kubernetes administration, container runtimes, and service mesh architectures.
- Proficiency in Go or Python for automation and tooling development.
- Deep understanding of Linux internals, TCP/IP networking, and TLS certificate lifecycle management.
- Proven track record implementing automated CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or ArgoCD.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical engineering experience.
