Nexus Cloud Systems is seeking a high-caliber Senior Platform Engineer to scale our distributed infrastructure. You will design, build, and maintain core platform services that empower our engineering organization to deploy resilient microservices with velocity and confidence.
In this role, you will eliminate developer friction, optimize cloud infrastructure costs, and architect self-healing systems running across multiple AWS regions. We prioritize declarative systems, rigorous automation, and clean infrastructure-as-code patterns.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain multi-region Kubernetes clusters on AWS (EKS) for zero-downtime reliability.
- Design, deploy, and enforce infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and GitOps workflows via ArgoCD.
- Build resilient CI/CD release pipelines to reduce deployment lead times and eliminate deployment failures.
- Develop internal developer platform (IDP) tooling and service templates to standardize microservice scaffolding.
- Optimize distributed tracing, structured logging, and system observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and lead blameless post-mortem investigations for production incidents.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of experience managing production infrastructure in high-traffic AWS environments.
- Production-grade expertise with Kubernetes orchestration, ingress controllers, and service meshes.
- Advanced proficiency in Terraform, Terragrunt, or similar declarative configuration tooling.
- Proficiency in at least one systems programming language such as Go or Python.
- Demonstrated experience configuring robust observability platforms with Prometheus, Datadog, or Grafana.
- Deep understanding of Linux internals, TCP/IP networking, and distributed cloud security practices.
