Apex Data Systems is hiring a Staff Backend Engineer to lead the architecture and scaling of our core distributed streaming engine. You will own high-throughput, low-latency data pipelines processing millions of events per second while establishing engineering standards across the organization.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, build, and maintain core services handling petabyte-scale data ingestion.
- Set technical direction, coding standards, and system architecture for backend engineering.
- Optimize system reliability, throughput, and sub-millisecond query latency.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers through technical design reviews and paired programming.
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to define long-term technical roadmaps.
- Diagnose complex production incidents and drive root cause remediation efforts.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience building large-scale backend distributed systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Go, Rust, or modern C++.
- Deep expertise in event-driven systems utilizing Kafka, Apache Flink, or similar architectures.
- Demonstrated experience optimizing distributed storage systems such as PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, or Cassandra.
- Proven track record delivering reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP using Kubernetes.
- Strong grasp of concurrency primitives, memory management, and network I/O optimization.
