CloudScale Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to scale our distributed infrastructure. You will architect internal developer platforms, improve service reliability, and automate multi-region deployments serving millions of requests daily.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional product and security teams to build resilient runtime environments on AWS and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate pairs deep systems-level knowledge with a strong product mindset to eliminate developer friction.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain multi-region Kubernetes clusters on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Design automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment speed and reliability.
- Build internal developer platforms and self-service tooling to accelerate engineering velocity.
- Establish distributed tracing, metrics, and alerting frameworks using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Lead root cause analyses for production incidents and implement proactive architectural mitigations.
- Enforce security controls, zero-trust network policies, and compliance baselines across all cloud assets.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of experience managing production infrastructure at scale in high-growth environments.
- Demonstrated mastery of Kubernetes container orchestration and container runtime internals.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Strong coding skills in Go, Python, or Rust for systems automation and tooling.
- Proven background implementing observability architectures using Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Datadog.
- Deep understanding of Linux systems internals, networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/2, gRPC), and cloud security.
