CloudScale Systems is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to own and scale our core cloud infrastructure. You will design reliable deployment systems, scale multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters, and build tooling that accelerates engineering velocity across all product teams.
We operate mission-critical workloads across multiple cloud regions. In this role, you will eliminate bottlenecks, harden system resilience, and define operational best practices for high-concurrency production services.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain high-availability Kubernetes infrastructure across multi-region AWS environments.
- Build automated CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling to support zero-downtime deployments.
- Provision and manage cloud resources declaratively using Terraform and GitOps workflows.
- Implement distributed tracing, metrics, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Lead post-incident reviews and implement systemic remediations to prevent recurring failure modes.
- Participate in a secondary on-call rotation providing escalation support for tier-one platform services.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience managing distributed systems and cloud platforms.
- Deep operational expertise with Kubernetes, container runtimes, and service meshes.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for building automation scripts, CLIs, and internal services.
- Extensive experience implementing Infrastructure as Code via Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Thorough grasp of Linux systems administration, kernel tuning, and TCP/IP networking.
- Demonstrated history of driving observability initiatives and establishing SLOs/SLIs.
