Nexus Cloud Systems is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to scale our core distributed infrastructure. You will design, build, and operate foundational internal developer platforms that power mission-critical services globally.
In this role, you will eliminate developer friction, optimize cloud infrastructure spend, and guarantee 99.99% system reliability across our multi-region Kubernetes deployments.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, deploy, and maintain multi-region Kubernetes clusters on AWS using Terraform.
- Build internal developer tooling and automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment velocity.
- Implement comprehensive observability, tracing, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Enforce zero-trust security postures, IAM governance, and automated secret management.
- Partner with product engineering teams to diagnose latency bottlenecks and distributed failures.
- Participate in a blameless on-call rotation and lead post-incident engineering retrospectives.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of experience managing production-grade infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for infrastructure automation and systems programming.
- Deep operational expertise with Kubernetes, container runtimes, and service meshes (e.g., Istio).
- Hands-on mastery of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, OpenTofu, or Pulumi.
- Demonstrated experience tuning Linux kernel parameters, networking, and storage I/O.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical industry experience.
