ScaleGrid Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to scale our core cloud platform and developer tooling. You will design, build, and maintain mission-critical infrastructure supporting hundreds of microservices processing billions of monthly transactions.
In this role, you will work closely with product and engineering teams to eliminate architectural bottlenecks, enforce reliability standards, and deliver exceptional developer velocity across the organization.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, provision, and maintain multi-region Kubernetes clusters across AWS and GCP environments.
- Design and automate scalable CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment workflows for over 80 developers.
- Implement comprehensive observability, telemetry, and automated alerting frameworks using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Enforce infrastructure-as-code standards using Terraform to ensure reproducible and secure cloud deployments.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and drive architectural post-mortems to enhance systemic uptime.
- Participate in a secondary, sustainable on-call rotation dedicated to platform reliability and incident response.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of experience managing production-grade, distributed infrastructure at scale.
- Deep operational proficiency with container orchestration tools, specifically Kubernetes in high-availability setups.
- Hands-on mastery of Infrastructure as Code tooling, particularly Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Proficiency in at least one systems programming or scripting language, preferably Go or Python.
- Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining modern CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or GitLab CI.
- Solid foundation in Linux systems internals, networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/2, DNS), and cloud security controls.
