ScaleGrid is hiring an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to oversee, scale, and harden our core infrastructure. You will design fault-tolerant systems, automate infrastructure management, and champion operational reliability across all production platforms.
You will collaborate closely with core engineering teams to establish reliability best practices, optimize cloud spend, and drive automated incident recovery. This role provides direct input into platform architecture and mission-critical cloud design.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, provision, and maintain multi-region Kubernetes clusters on AWS.
- Develop and standardize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform.
- Define, measure, and enforce SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets across microservices.
- Deploy automated observability and telemetry suites using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Participate in high-severity incident triaging, blameless post-mortems, and root cause mitigation.
- Build tooling in Go or Python to automate operational tasks and CI/CD pipelines.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of experience engineering cloud platforms and high-availability systems.
- Advanced production experience with container orchestration and Kubernetes management.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform.
- Strong programming proficiency in Go or Python for internal infrastructure tooling.
- Deep operational knowledge of networking, Linux kernel fundamentals, and cloud security.
- Proven background running on-call rotations and post-incident reviews for critical systems.
