CloudScale Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to drive availability, latency, performance, and efficiency across our globally distributed infrastructure. In this role, you will architect resilient distributed systems, build out automated deployment pipelines, and partner with product engineering teams to ensure 99.99% uptime for multi-tenant cloud platforms.
We prioritize automation over toil and empower engineers to fundamentally improve production health through software engineering rather than manual operations.
Tanggung Jawab
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available Kubernetes clusters across multi-region AWS environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.
- Establish service-level objectives (SLOs), indicators (SLIs), and comprehensive observability dashboards using Prometheus and Datadog.
- Participate in on-call rotations, lead incident retrospectives, and drive root cause analysis (RCA) remediation tasks.
- Optimize system architecture to cut compute waste and improve application latency under high-load conditions.
- Partner with software engineering teams to harden CI/CD pipelines and implement automated zero-downtime deployments.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience in an SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Go, Python, or Rust).
- Deep production expertise with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).
- Extensive experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) via Terraform.
- Hands-on experience configuring distributed tracing, metric aggregation, and centralized logging systems.
- Demonstrated understanding of networking protocols, distributed systems theory, and Linux kernel fundamentals.
