OSI Electronics is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SMT Technician to join our electronics manufacturing facility in Batam, Kepulauan Riau. In this technical role, you will oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) machinery while executing essential electrical qualification tests across production projects.
As an integral part of the engineering and manufacturing team, you will ensure full compliance with internal quality specifications and external stakeholder standards. You will participate directly in testing routines, analyze electrical integrity, troubleshoot machine errors, and drive defect-free PCB assembly throughput.

Tanggung Jawab
- Set up, configure, and operate automated SMT production equipment, including screen printers, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens.
- Execute electrical qualification tests and functional verifications on production assemblies according to test procedures.
- Collaborate with quality control, production leads, and external audit teams to verify process compliance.
- Perform timely troubleshooting and repairs on line stoppages, component feed issues, and placement errors.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance, calibration, and cleaning of SMT machinery and test fixtures.
- Monitor line yields and perform root-cause analysis on recurring electrical test failures.
- Maintain precise documentation of test outputs, equipment logs, and quality check records.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Technical High School Certificate (SMK) in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an SMT technician in a high-volume electronics manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with SMT equipment platforms such as Fuji, Panasonic, Yamaha, or ASM.
- Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards and PCB assembly inspection procedures.
- Hands-on skill in using electrical test tools including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and automated test equipment.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, assembly drawings, and engineering specifications.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Indonesian and working knowledge of English.
