Nexus Core Systems builds mission-critical data streaming infrastructure for enterprise cloud environments. We are seeking a Staff Backend Engineer to architect, scale, and optimize high-throughput distributed systems handling millions of events per second.
In this role, you will lead backend architectural decisions, establish engineering standards, and resolve performance bottlenecks across our low-latency distributed pipeline.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain fault-tolerant, high-throughput distributed services in Go and Rust.
- Lead technical roadmap initiatives and drive architectural consensus across engineering teams.
- Optimize system performance, reducing latency and resource consumption across production clusters.
- Design resilient data storage strategies using distributed databases and event streaming systems.
- Establish engineering best practices for testing, observability, and CI/CD automation.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design docs, and technical pairing.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of professional backend software development experience.
- Deep expertise in concurrent programming languages such as Go, Rust, or C++.
- Demonstrated experience operating distributed streaming platforms like Apache Kafka, Pulsar, or Flink at scale.
- Strong background in database internals, query optimization, and consensus protocols (Raft, Paxos).
- Proficiency with containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
