Nexus Systems is seeking a Staff Infrastructure Engineer to lead our core platform evolution. In this role, you will architect resilient distributed systems, drive automation across multi-region Kubernetes clusters, and establish the technical baseline for engineering reliability across the organization.
You will collaborate directly with executive stakeholders and product engineering teams to eliminate operational toil and ensure sub-second global latencies at petabyte scale.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, deploy, and maintain multi-region infrastructure on AWS using modern Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Drive zero-downtime reliability, observability, and incident recovery strategies across all critical tiers.
- Standardize container orchestration workflows leveraging Kubernetes, Service Mesh, and GitOps pipelines.
- Spearhead capacity planning, database performance tuning, and cloud cost-optimization initiatives.
- Mentor senior engineers through technical reviews, architectural design records, and runbook automation.
- Participate in a blameless on-call rotation as a Tier-3 escalation point for mission-critical infrastructure incidents.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience managing high-throughput distributed systems in public cloud environments.
- Demonstrated mastery of Kubernetes administration, internals, and operator development.
- Deep production proficiency with Go, Python, or Rust for systems tooling and automation.
- Advanced expertise with Terraform, Terragrunt, or similar declarative IaC engines.
- Proven background with observability stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and distributed tracing.
- Solid foundational knowledge of Linux kernel internals, networking primitives (TCP/IP, BGP), and TLS lifecycle.
