Apex Cloud Systems is seeking an experienced Staff Backend Engineer to architect, scale, and optimize core distributed infrastructure powering millions of real-time transactions daily.
In this role, you will lead backend architectural decisions, establish engineering standards, and work cross-functionally with product and data engineering teams to build fault-tolerant, low-latency microservices.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems using Go and PostgreSQL.
- Drive end-to-end technical vision and design documents for enterprise-grade backend services.
- Optimize system performance, identifying bottlenecks across database queries, network layers, and runtime code.
- Establish engineering best practices for CI/CD, testing, observability, and containerized deployments on Kubernetes.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers through detailed code reviews, architectural feedback, and technical leadership.
- Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure data governance and zero-trust security standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of production software engineering experience with strong command of Go, Rust, or Java.
- Proven track record architecting and operating distributed systems processing massive traffic volumes.
- Expert-level knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL datastores, indexing strategies, and caching layers (Redis).
- Hands-on expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and major cloud providers (AWS or GCP).
- Deep understanding of event-driven architectures utilizing Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
